Having worked for 30+ years in public services and ensuring security, I have had to face countless crises. At the same time, it must be recognized that the kitchen is the same kind of battle tank where preparing each meal is like managing a crisis - there is always a lack of time, countless unforeseen factors affect the effective performance, good pre-planning helps to achieve the result and teamwork plays a key role. If you can do it in the kitchen team, you can do it anywhere!

THE TEAM IN THE KITCHEN

This is no ordinary "let's cook with the team" event! Kitchen work is teamwork, where communication and cooperation plays a major role in the preparation of food. Here, during the training, the team tests all cooperation skills to prepare the dinner and the team can eat. The training begins with the team choosing a chef from among themselves, who sets up the team and assigns tasks in the kitchen. The goal is to prepare a three-course dinner for your team. How tasty the result is depends on the cooperation of the team.

Crisis Alert!

Food is super important during tough times, but you have to be smart about it. When prepping for a crisis, keep it simple: stock up on stuff that lasts long, is ready to eat, or easy to cook, and gives you plenty of energy and nutrients. Think canned foods and dried stuff like packet soups and dried fruits. Don't just stash it away though; use and replace it regularly to keep it fresh. And, don't forget about the wild foods you can find out there—they've kept folks going for ages. Nowadays, you can find all sorts of fancy canned foods in stores, so you can still whip up gourmet meals even when things get rough. But what should you have on hand, and how can you make tasty meals with emergency supplies when there's no power or water? 

In our crisis team, we work together to cook up some good meals under the guidance of our chef Toomas. With his extensive experience in crisis management prior to his culinary career, Toomas brings invaluable insights to the table, drawn from his past experiences with crises.
